Youth Contest – Cream Cheese Cookies, Brownies, or Bars

Registration Form

3:30 p.m. Youth Registration             4:00 p.m. Youth Judging

  Contest Rules:

1.  Open to any individual who is age 8 to 12 years and is a New York resident.

2.  Entry must be cookies, brownies or bars made from “scratch” using cream cheese.

3.  Entry must be submitted as a plate of six (6) on a doily-covered cardboard or paper plate.

4.  Recipe(s) listing the ingredients, preparation instructions and recipe author must be submitted with the

entry, printed on one side of the page. Please submit 2 copies of the recipe, one without your name for the judges and one with your name for registration.

5.  Entry must be made by the participant.

  

Judging for contest will be based on the following criteria:

            A.  Flavor                                                             30 points

            B.  Overall Appearance                                     25 points

            C.  Moistness and Crumb/Texture                   20 Points

            D.  Consistency (size and shape)                    15 Points

            E.  Creativity (appearance, ingredients, etc.) 10 Points

 Teen Contest

 Any Dessert made with Cream Cheese

 Contest Rules:

1.  Open to any individual who is age 13 to 18 years and is a New York resident.

2.  Any dessert made from “scratch” using Cream cheese.

3.  Entire entry is to be submitted on disposable plate, aluminum pan or aluminum covered cardboard,

4.  Recipe(s) listing the ingredients, preparation instructions and recipe author must be submitted with the

entry, printed on one side of the page. Please submit 2 copies of the recipe, one without your name for the judges and one with your name for registration.

5.  Entry must be made by the participant.
