Press Release for the Granpa Cratchet Puppetmobile
Featuring Granpa’s General Store Delivery Truck – Take
the Garbage Out tour
Headline: Granpa Cratchet to Pick Up and Spread Garbage
Watch out, here he comes! It’s Granpa Cratchet in his
miniature Garbage Truck driving across the grounds of
our event gathering up garbage and dispensing some
garbage (That’s what Granma calls most of Granpa’s tall
stories). Besides all the silly jokes and puns about
garbage Granpa will also be teaching kids that life is
what you make it, so take out the garbage and put in the
good.
Granpa’s old time garbage truck is hilarious and this
off the wall, high energy, very hip
Granpa brings new meaning to the term trash talk. You
might hear something like, “Every year people in the
U.S. produce enough trash to fill sixty three thousand
garbage trucks.” Or, “If laid end to end all the
disposable diapers thrown out each year would equal the
distance of seventrips to the moon. And smell really
bad, too.” But there’s no trash at all in the main
message Granpa will be spreading: Garbage In, Garbage
out.
Life is what you make it, so take the garbage out!
Granpa will also be autographing his giant Garbage In,
Garbage Out wall posters, which the kids can get after
his stage show in the Granpa Cratchet
keep-the-garbage-out Fun Pack. The kids can put this
giant full color wall poster up in their rooms as a
reminder of their fun visit with Granpa at our event and
to help them remember to help mom take out the garbage,
as well as keep the garbage out of their life. On the
back of the poster is a fun game full of all kinds of
silly garbage tid bits and important points that teach
the kids to watch what they put into their minds, their
bodies and their hearts. Kids and parents can visit
Granpa anytime on the web at oldcoot.com for more free
fun facts and games that teach about keeping our planet
clean and their lives free of garbage such as alcohol,
drugs or tobacco.
Granpa’s garbage truck is a lot of fun in and of itself.
It’s full of music, silly sounds and
special effects. The radiator squirts, the garbage
compactor groans and you can actually hear things being
smashed in the back. You might say, “I hear that every
day on our street at home.” But you’re never seen a
garbage truck that can fit in the front seat of a
garbage truck! If you want a sneak preview check him out
on the web at
www.oldcoot.com
where you can also play free games and learn important
garbage tidbits.
This little miniature truck looks just like the real
thing and it’s driven by a puppet too boot. This you
have never seen and its something you absolutely have to
see. Your kids will love Granpa, but he’s not a good
driver, so watch out. In fact his driving has created a
lot of the trash he has to haul off. He says, “Most
people get bugs on their wind shield, but I get mail
boxes, old ladies and vinyl siding.” He usually adds,
“If you don’t like the way I drive, stay off the
sidewalk.” He might even drive right up to you and offer
to dispose of your bright tropical shirt or your purse,
if it happens to have a lot of cash in it. In any case,
you’ll have a ton of fun and a lot of laughs with Granpa
and his miniature garbage truck. Like he always says,
“Don’t forget. If you crash it call Granpa to trash it.”
Or, he always adds, he’ll trash it for you for a small
extra fee. It’sall fun and it’s all free. Come on out
and see Granpa and his miniature garbage truck at the
Jefferson County Fair.
